I wholly recommend this to anyone new to the Homeworld series, hoping to play Homeworld 2 with a new coat of paint, or just want something different from the normal RTS we have nowadays. It is a wonderful remaster that has brought this timeless classic back into modern gaming. It has a wonderful campaign that is a moving space opera that urges you to keep playing. Do keep in mind that as of this review, the multiplayer is in BETA. I would buy this for the campaign rather than the multiplayer, but it is indeed worth the price.

However if you played Homeworld 1 and you're buying this for a remastered version of the original, they have changed some things (HW2 UI, no fuel management, scaled enemies based on your force in the campaign, no Yes song in the ending) but it is still an extremely enjoyable experience. Even if you don't like the remaster, you still get the originals in this collection to play to your hearts content. The originals packed in this collection are exactly the same as the ones you would buy in the box 15 years ago.

If you like the original Binding of Issac, you'll love this. On top of supporting 60 fps, controller support, and analog controls for movement, this also features more variety over the original. If that doesnt tickle your fancy, Eden is a brand new character with a new trick up their sleeve: Randomization. Eden's stats, starting items and even hairstyle randomize to keep things fresh for new runs to come.

All in all, this is what I wanted to see in the original, and I have nothing to say about it but well done and thank you!
