A rough translation of the words, "Æsir" and "Thor". Æsir refers to the Gods who dwell in the realm of Valhalla on one of the nine branches of Yggdrasil.
Thor, being the son of Oden -the All-Father- and subsequently one of the Æsir Gods, is most noted as the God of thunder.
He wields the warhammer, Mjölnir (pronounced mjɒlnɪər/ MYOL-n(ee)R).
