great with custom songs and mods

it's alright with this sale get the Definitive Edition sub €30, Core characters are behind dlc a horrible practice tired of that ****. Couch experience is great but tbh we didn't enjoy it enough to ever come back to it, especially since it was €40 at the time for half the game.

Feel pretty ripped off as a new player to this series believing the hype of it's community trusting the developers to fix and bring new features in. Modding community seems amazing, great job to them for fixing issues but... devs just glace over the mods. when 1 moddev (at times more) fixes it with a little work. So now you have to mess with mods for the better experience I expected soon after release.

It does not look good and amazed at how there isn't bigger back lash. They released an early access game pretty much, was so many issues and is still lacking serious content, general fixes, controls and UI improvements (Not even full story, but it is make your own type of game but i like RP, give me more) (is being expanded upon as promised so not bad on that, make your own story in the mean time of course.)

Now there is DLC already, no wonder there hasn't been as many updates as I expected.
Pretty negative for now like I said as a new player to this series but I will look forward to the update that'll come along with the dlc. update 3.0 is it?
Must see how it goes and I'll adjust my review. Just been waiting way too long already it feels to properly play this game.

A really fun survival game at the price I bought it at. €15.

Now to be honest i haven't played this game in quite a while but i don't think any recent updates justify the €60 price tag +€20 dlc.
Sure you could get your moneys worth but much more optimisation should be done aswell as more content/bug patches I think before thinking this as a complete game.

A great challenging game. Really fun aiming for the huge amount of achievements.
Amazing replayability as there is always something new to unlock,even after hundreds of hours from what I've seen.

Was pretty worried pre-ordering this but felt confident at the same time from the amount of lets plays that have been out.
Now that it's out I can say I am really happy with CA, not a single problem here. Forget the reviews of the people who can't be bothered sorting firewall issues and updating drivers or even waiting longer than a minute to get past the launch logo (I'm running on an SSD and everything is pretty much instantly loaded), there is nothing wrong with the game in my experience.
Really surprised with how well optimised the game is too. Highly recommend to both total war and warhammer fans.

Update Oct 2016: Loving it :D previous comment on those issues I never experienced probably don't apply anymore, that was way back at launch day.
They did break alot of our campaigns with updates like the beastmen dlc when chaos rises the game froze but the development is great and quickly released fixes in many patches.

I would still question their dlcs but it's understandable I guess, it's a business after all and it's certainly not cheap to keep development going.
Will definitly be buying them anyway at a later date when there is a really good sale at sometime just not a full price since I am a cheap bastard :D
