*See's barn, then tells friend where it is.*
My friend and I go into the barn and loot it.
My friend picks up a bale of hay and the barn collapses on top of me.

10/10 would barn again.

Mount and Blade: Warband has to be one of my favorite Role Playing Games. You start out with making your character. At the character creation screen you can choose what your father did and then what you did as a child, then teenage years. All those things have an impact on your stats. For example a "Game Poacher" may start with higher Bow proficiencies.

After the character creation you are dropped into the world and well, your adventure begins. After you do the first quest you are free to roam Calradia. The goal in this game is for one faction to control Calradia. You may either join a Kings Army where you may later on become the "Marshall" and have the commanding role in that empires military campaigns or... the more challenging route. You may start your own faction.

While traveling around Calradia you may find "Compainions" in the taverns of the major cities. They may help you in combat and if you make your own faction you may assign them as your "Vassal" and give them a fief (Castle, City, or Village). As your vassal they will mass their own armies and fight your factions enemies automatically.

Lastly I wanted to cover the battles. Your troops are able to be commanded by you, the player. You may have them hold a position, charge, advance ten paces, etc. The Enemy AI are adaptable on higher difficulties leading to varying tactics.

So, the decision is yours. Will you forge a mighty empire? Or join one. The choice is yours in Mount and Blade: Warband.

I hope this helped and wasn't too long but thats the game pretty much. Shortened it as much as possible.
