The best Diablo-clone that isn't Diablo out there! A great CRPG with loads of replay value in the equipment there is to collect and the myriad builds and playstyles to experiment with. Great art direction and use of Greek/Egyptian/Asian mythology can pique one's interest and cause you to lose hours of time while playing this game. If you're disappointed with Blizzard, then pick up this gem! And watch out for the next game from the creators of Titan Quest: Grim Dawn!

Made by a team including the creators of the original Fallout, this entry in the series is a real step up from Fallout 3. All the liberties Bethesda took with the lore in the last installment are happily forgotten once you step into the casinos of New Vegas. The plotlines your character must choose to follow have gloriously ambiguous outcomes: no one choice is the "right" one. The desert terrain has been carefully designed and is a joy to explore. The upgraded weapon mechanics along with the ability to modify them adds depth that can make each playthrough a unique one. Finally, the DLC adds entertaining and interesting stories that rounds out this exceptional game, along with some unique locales and methods of gameplay that spice things up.

I have to say, I would be ecstatic to see Bethesda hand over the task of making future installments of the Fallout series to the team at Obsisdian, while they can stick to the Elder Scrolls series.

A very challenging and rewarding game. There are parts that will frustrate you to tears, but it makes the eventual victory all the sweeter. Don't listen to all the bad criticisms around the net! The game plays a lot better than on the consoles and looks beautiful with Durante's DSfix. It really must be played to experience how great this game really is. Everything from the overall design and aesthetics to the game mechanics and balance makes this an instant classic.

A Codemasters game that doesn't feel like you're driving a boat! Seriously, they have done a great job with the physics and AI in this game. It feels like you're really participating in a Formula 1 race. The track models are great and seem true-to-life, which adds to the immersion. Steering wheel is a must!

This game is horrible! The story makes absolutely no sense, the mechanics are flawed, the gameplay is extremely unbalanced... But this game is like crack! Don't buy this game unless you want to waste hours of your life away in the multiplayer!

If you're tired of all the cookie-cutter, run-and-gun first-person shooters out there, then this is the game for you. The atmosphere of this post-apocalyptic Russia really captures the gloom and destruction the people now face living in fear below the surface. The story is well done and is told in a nicely paced progression that leaves you eager to find out what happens next. All the major characters are unique with personalities that make you care what happens to them.

There are some gameplay elements that take time to get used to. The guns are not very accurate because they have been hand-made from scrap. The field-of-view angle is very narrow, which could cause motion sickness for some players. Other than that, the game is very well-done, and even pretty to look at. I highly recommend it. It even makes me want to read the book it's based on now.
