New players beware, they sucker you in with new player bonuses, but you quickly hit an exp wall. Sure you can get through stages with skill, but you get outscaled really hard with damaged received and dealt. There are not enough gems to go around to catch up at a reasonable time. So be prepared to either shell out or just wait days and days to get to the "recommended" power level.

That being said the music is great as all Megaman games should, because they reuse music from previous titles. The Live2d models also look great, the actual 3D models are okay, they're fine; it's a mobile game.

tl;dr music good, grind bland, they really want you to spend money on gems.

Edit; i've been playing on and off, it really wants you to either spend money or play every day and save. Who thought it was a good idea to have a mission that was use 100 gems a day? Game is bad.

Uh. It's a game. I guess. It still uses GFWL. Online is as dead as I wish I was.

Still infinitely better than Dark Souls 2 and 3.

I'm not sure if I can recommend this game. Yes a lot of the things in it are still there, horrible sprite flickering, hella lag, pause glitching. So they stayed true to that. [] The fact that there are only 6 games is kinda insulting. Yes they're the 6 games you find on the NES, sans Rockboard, but they could've included Wily Wars or the Complete Works remakes as well. Sure it's only $15, but you can get the Anniversary Collection on the PS2 for much cheaper than $15, which even includes Power Fighters 1 and 2.

Aside from my issues with the games in the collection, like i said before they stayed pretty true to the NES games themselves and I had no issues with preformance. So the games remain fun, [sans Megaman 1, you fall like a brick and you control like an ice stage at all times, but that's normal for that game.] The Challenge mode is pretty much the only place i can see money being spent, since it's much like NES Remix, which is a fun remix of older games, the Legacy Collection wishes to follow it and does so pretty okay.

So, if you want a $15 Challenge Mode, by all means get the Legacy Collection. If not just hop on to amazon and buy the Anniversary Collection for $13, hell snag the X and Zero Collections too, since we're never getting a Gameboy collection.

Everyone should buy it. It's a great game, I totally don't own 3 copies of this game now. I promise.


I forgot to edit this. I own it a total of 2 more times on PS4, digitally and physically. So I am an owner of not 5, but 6, because I sorta own it on the Windows Store too. DON'T JUDGE ME.
