As the successor for the original Blue Protocol, they did pretty well in expanding the world and making the exploration more fun (in the original the movement and the map boundaries were very limited), you can fly, climb walls and stamina isn't a burden like other games. Combat is fun and the possibility to do auto-combat is fine for when you're busy (bro the auto-combat makes combos better than me). So for the people wondering about the pros/cons:

PROS:

-Good graphics, you can even take pretty neat screenshots with the game's features.
-Prices are very accessible, less than 5 USD to have another look (and you can dye the clothes!).
-Combat is really smooth, even if your ping is high (i play with 170ms good enough).
-Not p2w enough despite having features of other games (lost ark market).
-Most important of all, you can be the best out there by just playing without spending a single cent on this game (but you may not look as flashy as a whale).
-For the people wondering about Imagines (artifacts that have their own gacha banner), the game gives the player enough rose orbs to reach pity. And no, you don't need legendary Imagines, most of classes's builds NEED a cheap imagine because you can refine them easily and outperform the legendaries.

CONS:

-Camera stutters a bit when you're casting skills, at least for frost mage is a bit annoying.
-The introduction for the beginner player is terrible, my first 10h of gameplay was just speedrunning the main quest while trying to figure out the game's features.
-There's way too many coins and i still get confused when finding some features (although more or less i figured it out everything).
-Overall i find the game's lore boring, your average gacha lore (original was better tho).

So in summary, should you be playing this game? If you have patience to learn all the content, yes.
Could a casual player compete with others in this game? Absolutely. Besides farming the legendary weapon (which has around 0.5% - 1% drop rate), everything else is fast enough to get. Compared to other MMORPGs, this one is easy to progress.

As of today 10/16/2025, I'm a 10k Frost Mage that started playing for 5 days completely F2P. Game is gud. People crying in the reviews couldn't learn how the game works.

Among all the horror games i played since i was a kid (starting by RPG maker games like Mad Father, The Witch's House and Ib), this is by far one of the best i ever played. The story was surprisingly catching, the mini-games were sudden and enjoyable, i liked how each character had a fixed personality that you would either like or dislike instead of the usual NPC trait that most games set. Overall a game that everyone that likes this genre should try.

10/10 gameplay, very polished, the notes move very smoothly (which is quite a feat compared to other VSRG's where the gameplay feels as fluent as a zoom meeting call).

The music is also extremely good, could feel the Arcaea vibes from some songs and a lot of Camellia influence on others (not a big fan of Camellia but hey, at least they got inspired from the good songs of Camellia, kek)

About the history, i'm sorry but i couldn't get hooked into it, the beginning felt really boring BUT on chapter 2 it took a very good turn and it became very interesting, although still not my piece of cake.

Overall 9.9/10 imo, anyone that likes VSRGs should play this game :D
