Disclaimer. I received this game for free.

TL:DR - Berserk Boy is phenomenal. If you like 2D retro style platformers this is a must play!

+ Gameplay is really smooth and responsive especially on controller.
+ Takes influence from classics like Megaman Zero and Sonic but adds it's own flare to it. Especially with some nice quality of life changes.
+ There's a number of different forms available all with their own abilities and styles. Some are good for movement while others focus on packing a punch.
+ Retro mode for folks who want a bit of a classic challenge with a lives system and harder enemies (Big Kudos too for telling folks up front there's no achievements tied to that mode)
+ The pixel artwork is gorgeous to look at. Really detailed and vibrant with each level adding more to it.
+ The SOUNDTRACK is epic! Tee Lopes knocks it out of the park again. Each set of levels has their own theme and variations on that theme within the levels themselves. Some retro style but not chiptune. It just rocks.

~ There's a moment in the game that I'm unsure about yet. Will update once I'm passed it and thought about it some more.
~ The story is there? Not bad, just nothing special. But I don't play these games for the story. The gameplay is where this game shines!

No negatives so far!

Spark the Electric Jester 2 is a fast paced 3D platformer that's really smooth to play and well worth it's price.

Pros
+ Really smooth controls that a responsive even at high speeds
+ Large expansive levels with more than one way to complete them
+ Great Soundtrack
+ Great for speedrunning!

Cons
+ Game options are set per save file (an annoyance if you are a speedrunner like me)

Sonic Mania strikes a great balance between nostalgia and bringing something new to the 2D Sonic formula. The drop dash is a fanstatic new addition that makes going fast and staying fast smoother while still retaining that classic sonic control scheme and feeling.

The sprite work, level backgrounds and music are all top notch and I'm heavily hoping that we get a Sonic Mania 2 or something very similar.
