I started playing more than 3 years ago (Guderian Update) so i think it time to give H&G a Honest review.

Heroes & Generals Is a game with a lot of content and very unique feastures. It Can be a lot of fun if you have access to them. however its not allways easy and Fun to get what you really want to have. so Let´s start with the review:

H&G has steep learning curve, like in every FPS you have to learn the maps and weapons. Addtionally you have to modify you weapons and vehicles to be sucessfull. Your starter weapon is actually 1 of the best weapons in the Game (2hk on everyone if modded correctly) but other than that starting out in H&G can be really frustrateing, you want to buy modifications, new weapons, vehicles and other classes but earn very little credits. While it is true that the Grind got less over time it is still way to hard for new players to get to a point where they can play without feeling resticted and outplayed.
Reto needs to improve the game for newbies so that they can have more fun without haveing to grind 50h+ but it seems like this is not going to happen soon.

Pros:
-weapon variety (everything from pistols to MG´s)
-personalization (weapon modifications, skins etc.)
-combined arms (Tanks planes and Infantry in 1 Match)
-Regular Updates (6-8 weeks)
-3 Unique factions (USSR, US, Ger)
-No Red v Blue
-Different classes (paratrooper, Recon, Tanker, Pilot)
-lots of Vehicles to choose from
-No Pay to Win (it´s Pay to progress Faster)
-No paywall on special Items
-RTS and FPS combined

Cons:
-RTS is broken
-long grind (for new players mostly)
-low Income (ingame currency)
-Tank gameplay is broken (AT Rambos)
-Recons are unless (sway)
-Performace issues (usually PC´s with AMD processors)
-PTRD

In the end i can still recommend the Game if you don´t mind the Grind or have some extra money you want to spent. It´s a lot of Fun once you have decent equipment and Friends to play with.
