I can feel it under all that cheesy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you can pull off theirs good combat.
But right now its quite easy to kill enemy by using the pistol, plonking head and cover, all the bosses can be killed with a jump kick, jump kick combo over and over which will perma stun lock them.
Most of combat for me devolved into spamming the knife swing and grab over and over. However i can see that under this early cheese the combat is incredibly responsive, fast paced and intuitive. Just really unbalanced right now which I hope they will fix.
Ai is really stupid at times and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ at others. They will fk you up so be ready to quick save. But exploiting their somewhat suicidal behaviour isn't hard. Especially if you just wait behind a corner with a knife and spam stab.
Movement isnt ultrakill level but decent enough, difficult to be precise, highlighted to me the most when i attempted to jump from column outcrop to column outcrop in the tutorial which was difficult as you would either overshoot, land and walk off or miss. Im hoping some of the level design utilises the movement mechanics a bit better as a cramped space ship isn't the greatest for showing it off.
Stealth is a little weird, some times i can leap straight in front of enemies and they cant see me, other times ill be spotted from a long distance away.
The hacking is interestingly done, however pressing backspace and having it delete two letters instead of one drives me up the wall plz fix. Oh and please let me use previously typed commands after getting off and then back on the terminal.
A couple bugs, the countdown timer showing up after reloading save, clipping out of the map in a few spots and having to reload. Also the tutorial videos for every single of the readable texts on the ground were exactly the same video, the first tutorial video of how to move.
The maps very open ended to the point it can be slightly confusing. However its not impossible to figure out. Puzzles were rewarding and a bit of a pain in the ass cause im stupid.
Music is fantastic
Story is so far interesting
Excited to see how progression plays out as well as how the combat evolves.

I recommend buying if you want to see this game succeed and once some of the new levels start coming out i'm sure it will be worth the price.
