Really fun game. Just make sure not to watch other people's playthrough before buying it.

An excellent game with an awkward matchmaking system that favors aesthetics over functionality.
This is minor compared to what the game does well, though.

The game looks good, has awesome characters and interesting game mechanics that add a lot of depth to it.
People new to the genre shouldn't be afraid to pick it up, though, as this Guilty Gear's installment has simplified some of the aspects of the game and added a great tutorial mode to welcome new players.

Currently it's very popular as well, making it easy for people to get matched to players at the same skill level.

If you miss real time tactics games like Commandos and Desperados, you will love this game.
I like how they made the characters refuse to walk to where you clicked if they are too far away from the destination. I remember accidently making my characters run to the other side of the map by accident. lol

The only complaint I have is how it won't prompt certain actions unless you precisely hover over a certain area. So you spend a lot of time rotating the camera to find the right spot. Quite annoying when it happens.

I highly recommend this game for people trying to get into fighting games.
The system is very simple and they have a great tutorial that, not only explains how the game works, but talks about strategy and basic concepts that apply to several other fighting games (something that most fighting games are "afraid" to talk about)

The netcode is really good. As long you and the opponent have a stable connection and can run the game smoothly, you are able to have an enjoyable game even against someone from another continent. That's not the case in some other popular fighting games.

The game's system is very simple and quite limits gimmicky play. This can be good and bad. It's annoying dealing with a buch of setups and craziness, but it also ends up limiting how much you can learn and express yourself in the game. Characters feel very incomplete and limited by their variations. Some more than others.

About the offline modes, they are kinda okay. If you enjoy only a couple characters, it's not too bad playing some towers and going through the Krypt to find gear for them... But if you want to get stuff for a bunch of characters in the roster, the grind can be painful.

I'm new to the series, so I can't relate to veterans complaining about the changes in the system.

The game uses rollback netcode, but it was poorly implemented, so it's not great like the games Code Mystics have worked on. Still, it's better than delay netcode, and having crossplay between PC and PS4 helps a lot to have a decent amount of people to play with.

Practice mode is okay. Lobby system is decent, the ability to watch yours and other people's replays is GREAT and my only wish for CFN would be a message system, so we could talk to people playing on other platforms.

Game is enjoyable so far from a beginner's perspective.

The graphics made it impossible for me to play it. The textures have this really weird blur that gives me a feeling I'm playing with half sight, almost as if I was playing without glasses or something like that. The game itself looks like a lot of fun, but that feeling is unbearable.

Very refreshing experience. It adds a new way to survive in Don't Starve and makes the game feel more alive with the inclusion of the Hamlet city.

Better netcode than the Fightcade version, but I miss the FC lobby and being able to spectate matches.

This game has deeper and better mechanics than the new game, as well as a much better netcode that allows you to play people from other countries. A shame it goes under the radar because of the release of the new and no advertisement from SNK

The survivor, once again, doesn't have any perk that is meta, as they are mostly designed to help newer players.

About the killer, I don't find him very fun to play. His projectile power doesn't feel as rewarding/fun to use as Huntress'. His perks are good, though. Bamboozle and Pop Goes the Wisel are both very strong in the current meta.

The perks you get from the Survivor (Adam) aren't very meta, but the ones from the Killer (Spirit) are super good. The killer is also one of the most fun to play because of the mind game possibilities.

Trackin down survivors through sound cues and also faking using your ability/vaulting through a window is very satisfying when it works.
