This update was fun until I got motion sickness from playing it only about 20 minutes in.
Tried adjusting settings to no avail.
Its a common problem with FPS's and its just a shame that devs dont take it seriously.
Games like Serious Sam 4 have an "anti motion sickness" setting built in, which was a godsend.
Its fun but I cant play it :(

Game looks ok till 3 seconds in you realise there is no way to adjust mouse speed. So after you throw up from motion sickness a few times you kinda get used to it.
Don't die or you have to start from scratch as there is no game saves.
Takes way too long to acquire a weapon and when you do finally find one its a crap electric thing that runs out all the time.
It's not terribly effective either.
Graphics look good, gameplay is smooth once you get used to the mouse speed.
Overall I give it 4/10

I love this game so much. I have almost 9400 hours into it.
As a co-op FPS it is the best. Its never the same, always something waiting to get you.

It's a team game. The AI Director forces you to play as a team or you lose. There are many great players who play as team members, sticking together, helping teammates and being friendly to everyone. I've met some wonderful people through this game.

Then there's the Workshop with thousands of mods, custom maps and customisations for the game.
External sites also have custom maps.

But sadly there are also trolls :(
People who just want to ruin the spirit of the game. "Runners," who run ahead then complain bitterly when they go down, trolls that join, shoot players and leave or just be toxic in general.
And the players who get to the safe house and use more than one health kit. Without regard for anyone else. That is not cool.
It's not rocket science. There are 4 players and 4 health kits.

It's the greatest game, get it, enjoy it and have fun.

AI is crap, enemy can shoot through trees rocks cars etc. player cannot shoot past objects unless you are well away from those objects, exposing yourself to gunfire.
No way to customise keyboard commands for personal preference.
I use the same key options in all FPS's but no way to select them in this game.
Weapon swaps are totally crap. when picking up a weapon from the ground it doesn't automatically select that weapon.
Hopefully a few updates may add some better functionality??
Not worth $9.95 as is. Disappointed!

Where are the guns and ammo? Tired of trying to sneak around these wimps!

Stupid and meaningless ending.

After suffering through the clunkiest game mechanics ever, crap weapons, lack of ammunition and totally inane and non effective melee actions we arrive at the ending.
What a disappointment!
I was totally confused by all the seemingly endless stone block tunnel building to get to a point where I shoot one "Dark One?" Just one? Where were the others I saw?
Oh, and speaking of "melee" why were there no machetes? Iron bars? Pieces of wood with nails in the end? I mean they could fashion crappy home made guns but couldn't sharpen a piece of steel to use as a machete? Or put a wooden handle on a piece of iron bar?
OK.
Also had to take a few "Dramamine" on the way as the motion sickness was so bad in spots I had to stop playing for a day or two before resuming after popping some more Dramamine.
Overall? As an FPS eh 4/10.
I gave it a thumbs up for the graphical aesthetic. SOME gameplay was fun. Mostly just clunky.

Great game I enjoyed it.
Excellent storyline, gameplay and dynamics.
Scary as hell in places too.
Being able to play a whole game as each character is very nice.

Absolute classic. One of the best FPS's out there. 918.2 hours into it and the only reason I don't play more often is because I have so many other games to play.

This game still stands head and shoulders above many of the current FPS offerings.
