It is a lot of fun, combat is very fluid and the game is beautiful. Story is a tad weak, but it definitely puts the dark souls series in its place on that note as well.

This is a fun game, perhaps better than LoL. But I cannot recommend it. Why? Glad you asked.
1. Mostly poor support.
I played this game at 1080p on a 42" tv from about 8' away. I can't read most of the smaller text in-game or console. Normally this isn't a problem as most communities, or developers, offer some sort of solution. Going and editing a few games files is no big deal for me. However in Dota 2, most of the community support over the past 3 years has equated to a) "I have the same problem" b) "Mine looks fine, don't know what you're talking about" c) "Get glasses/new screen/ect."

Response A is helpful because it shows that this is problem for more than just one person, and the fact this this has been coming up again and again throughour the life of this game shows that it was not an erroneous patch or some limited event. It also shows the developer doesn't care.

Response B is useless, why are you even looking at a thread on font size issues if you don't have one? Worse why do you comment when you have nothing to add? What you've said doesn't help anyone, offer further insight into the problem, or further the discussion towards a solution for those who ARE having a problem.

Response C is essentially the same as B, but that person also felt the need to be rude and insulting. Toxic people like this just turn away prospective new members of the fan base who like the game enough that they are willing to try to find a solution to their problem, only to be greeted by flaming idiots. But I guess is the sort of community a F2P game attracts.

I've yet to read a single response on the developers' own forum that actually came from a developer saying they even acknowledged that some users were having difficulty reading their game. The fact that they have not once offered even a single comment when they have forum threads with posts showing lists of similar forum threads, and all of them have no solution and many of them being closed by moderators because there are already threads, which do not contain any solution at all, just more of the same, doesn't help the situation either.

For every other game I own where I have had a problem, of any nature, as long as the game has a price tag, there is a solution, either from the community or from the developers themselves. I don't know why micro-pay, or "Freemium" games have proven to be the exemption to this, but it is a sad trend.

As I said in the beginning, the game itself is quite good, and I enjoyed it, but one simple problem with worse than no solution for an answer has turned me off of this game for the 2nd and final time. If you can install and open the game and have it run and look proper, great. If you anything about the UI bugs you, you won't find a fix for it, so love it or leave it. I've made my choice.

It was fun. It was unpolished, but fun. Gameplay wasn't clumsy, and sprinting with dual sawed-offs looked kinda funny, but the sway was pretty good. The first mission, the demo mission, is sadly all about babysitting. Which itself was only a problem once with the last puzzle where you have to hit 3 plates in the floor to move a statue, but i reset and did it right and moved on.

Ok this game is getting a bad review, and not because of the game itself. It is quite entertaining when it works. But when I have to keep setting compatibility mode farther and farther back because the game suddenly decides it doesn't want to work on the settings that it worked just fine the day before on, it has a problem. Second, losing all save data and unlocks and being forced to start over from scratch because the game keeps failing to work with any settings consistently is just plain ridiculous. If I could, I would return this game because it is not worth the time or effort just to try to enjoy 20 minutes of playing cards. I've never had a game act like this one does. Go buy a hoyle card game if you want to play poker, at the least the game works.
