Got it for free at release, and got lost in the nostalgia for quite a while before installing thomas the train dragon again.
64 bit engine runs way smoother now. You're on steam, so everything else about the update is somewhat irrelevant since everything aesthetic about the game would normally be heavily enhanced anyway.

- There were an insane amount of mods on nexus not two days after SE was released, so anyone that says "Just go back and use old version with actual mods" is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ autistic and probably plays on a 32 bit system anyway.

I do, however, agree with some previous comments that there should have been a script extender released with the new version instead of forcing people back through the curve of waiting for the SKSE guys to do their thing and then re-read everything on how to get it working ourselves (After not playing Skyrim in so long.)
Either way, it didn't take long and all is well.

9/10 would fall in a hole I dug outside my base and die on bedrock again.

I've had a lot of fun playing this over the 360ish hours now. If you're familiar with voxel systems, this game is zombie survival scavenger (Like dayz) meets legitimate crafting and world scultping (This game being like a not-blocky-semi-realistic-looking Minecraft system.)

Also, Valmod is worth. If not already, I highly rec. the devs take into consideration some of the heavier gameplay changes the Valmod overhaul has.

The con to all this is how slow the actual releases are, and how persistant some of the not-extremely game breaking bugs are through patches that are released.
