I'm gonna be honest. I'm one of the veterans who had to move over to steam from Bungie. I had about 400 hours logged-in, and I bought the full game plus all DLC individually for the game. I've recently started playing again after the transfer. I've never played Destiny 1.

This review is spoiler free.

So, the review.

Graphics, 8.5/10
If the Destiny 2 experience is nothing else, it's beautiful. From the semi-open map of the games worlds to the hallway structures of it's strikes, there's always something new to see and it'll look good the entire time. The only real downside in my opinion is the lack of variety in boss models, usually reusing the same enemy assets on a larger scale.

Music, 9/10
Year 1 Destiny would've gotten a 7/10, but with the release of the forsaken and shadowkeep DLC's, Destiny 2's music has exponentially improved.

Story, 7/10
It's...Destiny alright. Thankfully a large majority of the lore is in-game, however, Bungie still needs to learn that sometimes, instead of having to read the lore, it should be experienced through missions or the character's who experienced it telling what happened, like through the Cayde-6 Forsaken DLC exotic quest.

Overall, 8/10

Oh, wait, almost forgot.

THE LOOT, 9000/10
The loot grind in the game has become one of, if not the most satisfying grind since Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. The only close contender would be Warframe, but a large portion of it's items are strictly time-gated and that seriously hurts the grind of the game.

Well, that's my review, if you have any comments on ways I could better review in the future, please say so in the future, after all, this is my first review here on steam.
