I think the simulation aspect of the game is quite well done and I've had great fun learning the tracks and getting better as I play. On the flipside I would say that there could still be more with the penalty system as too often I will be taken out or have my wing destroyed by a driver that gets off with no damage or no time penalty/DQ.

It used to be the case that I could get home and look forward to playing to Apex. The gunplay was the best I had experienced in any of the many battle royales on offer, the setting spoke to me as Titanfall fan and there was a real sense of achievement when I played.

Recently though, the game has become a money-printing endeavour. It seems like every 2 months we have a new skin collection released, often requiring players to spend in excess of £200 to unlock the entire collection. It is sad to see a once good game go the way of FIFA and become another cash grab for EA.
