Wonderful story with a few easy, but charming, puzzles. The price is a little steep for what it is though.
WIthout idle time and playing it for a second time to get the last achievements it took around 45-60 mins to finish. 15€ for that is a lot. Even if the story is really touching.

I've been really enjoying the game so far.

When I started it, I expected it to be very similar to other farming games (Stardew, Sun Haven, etc.), but placed in a new setting. However, it has a much higher focus on questing, exploring, and base building (not necessarily your base). The farming aspects are more of a "yeah... you can do this as well..." kinda thing. A lot of it feels very tedious. Planting, watering, and harvesting takes an annoyingly long time, which made me contemplate just dropping the farming aspects all together multiple times. And I would have if it wasn't a decent way of getting cash to buy more recipes/blueprints.

Pros:
- Very pretty/cute graphics.
- Relaxed difficulty with some fun combat here and there.
- Good base building.
- Good crafting system.
- Many likeable NPCs with good dialogue.
- A lot more content than I initially thought.
- At no point did I feel like exploring a place felt pointless.
- Devs seem committed to improving it even further.
- Some very creative mechanics you don't see everywhere (e.g. lassos to swing, drag stuff, etc).
- 1-button "sort items from inventory into local chests", which... I wish more games would have. It's SO nice! (similar to the one in Terraria).
- Low stakes when it comes to dying. You basically just lose the time it takes to get back to where you died.

Cons:
- Some minor bugs in the geometry of the map. Very minor annoyance sometime.
- Everything about farming takes unnecessarily long. It'd be much better if times were just 1/10 or at least 1/5s of what it is atm.
- Traveling (even with fast travel) takes too long once you reach the "endgame". I wish there were solid upgrades to making it faster. It feels really bad to get somewhere just to notice "Oh... I forgot to bring this one material to build whatever I needed for the quest.
- You can't rotate the camera whenever you want. Only in certain moments (e.g. with open building menu).
- NPCs only buy items related to their job --> Selling items is a hassle unless you focus on 1-2 things (e.g. crops, metal ores/bars).

Overall I think the game is easily worth the full price. Getting it at a discount doubly so. If you're looking for a cozy game that's less about farming and more about completing quests, exploring places (with easy but fun combat), and building little houses/villages it's definitely a good time!

Some improvements on the first one have been made. E.g. a volume slider

De-selecting pieces by attempting illegal moves or allowing more than one predetermined way to solve a puzzle are still missing. The issues of visibilty when it comes to white pieces on white squares still persist.

Still fun and very affordable.

Would be neutral, if that was an option. But since it's not then I'm going with "your time is probably too valuable for this"

- white pieces without black border on white spaces = invisible. I spend more time looking for my pieces than thinking about the puzzle. This is such a basic thing to get wrong.
- music is insanely loud
- unselecting a piece only works if you click the same piece a second time, not when you attempt an illegal move (as it usually works on chess sites)
- puzzles with multiple solutions only accept a single pre-programmed one.

For a buck or less it's fine. But it has very fundamental and annoying flaws.

Beautiful game with a touching and meaningful story, The riddles are creative but never frustrating. Some people might find them too easy, but I liked the difficulty level.

Steam shows I only have 4.5-5 hours of playtime but it's slightly above 7. Steam stopped tracking it thanks to internet connectivity issues. Price might still be too high for some, but if it ever gets discounted again it's worth it for sure.

I really like this game

Go fast, shoot the baddies, collect things (or don't), explore the maps for shortcuts and try to get good times.

pros:
  • easily accessible. makes you feel like a pro speed runner, even if you're definitely not one.
  • very "readable" levels. easy to "go fast" even on the first playthrough.
  • fun, fast and responsive movement and gameplay
  • very short levels. -> frustration about mistakes doesn't really build up
  • likeable characters make up for shortcomings in the story
  • a lot of variety and creative map design
  • great incentives to explore the maps (collectibles and tons of shortcuts)
  • ace-rank (highest normal ranking) is fairly accessible to achieve. For dedicated players you can aim for the developer times. Still very doable, but requires practice.
cons:
  • story is... okay.
  • weird pauses in the dialogues
  • sometimes very cringy conversations
  • 2 very hard/nearly unachievable achievements

Tons and tons of bugs. Most of them only minor inconveniences, but still so frequent that it's just not acceptable. Nostalgia made me push through them, but especially after the Super Bonus Level in Spyro 3 it became too much.

Spyro 1 is great, spyro 2 still very good, spyro 3 is ~40% mini games with unlikable NPCs.

If you 100% spyro 3 you are "rewarded" with a skating level that is beyond broken. You lose all speed randomly, clip through the floor, lose the ability to gain boost, switch directions mid-trick randomly, etc, etc.

The bugs, bad camera and extremely jank movement are your biggest enemy in all 3 games. No level is difficult. No enemy hard. But those three things will get you killed.

If you're just looking to play this as a casual low effort after work experience then it's a pretty good choice. If you want to play it for its endgame then I wouldn't consider buying it. The devs proved again and again that they don't care about the endgame community. Loads of choices against the interested of the endgame community, gamebreaking bugs that didn't/don't get fixed after months of being in the game, ignored feedback, etc, etc.

The latest big patch was bad enough that a mass exodus of the endgame community happened. The majority of the raid-discords and many friendslists are empty now. People left a game they played for years, their heavily invested accounts, and their communities/friends because it just got too bad and there is no sign that it'll get better.
