The Review.
Not much to say here. This MMO is the one I played almost the most in my life and there would be too much to say about everything if I did. I came here for the story and I wasn't disappointed except for ARR's pace which has too many filler quests that will feel boring if focused on and nothing else. Speaking of content, there is a lot available pretty early with classes and duties (Dungeons starting Lv15) but most of it will be locked behind the main story. It's a long path but it's worth doing for the story itself and for all it unlocks in the long run.

The story itself gets pretty insane starting Heavensward and in my opinion only gets better from there. The content unlocked will vary in difficulty but only toward the end of an expansion (or mid expansion in some cases) with extreme boss battles. (And later, savage and etc). Gameplay wise, the classes vary a lot by roles and all go from pretty easy to pretty hard to play so the choice is there for all. End game battles will all be fairly hard (or harder for some classes) anyway. I can't stress enough that it's important to cooperate with your party.

Speaking of which. The community (and I can't speak for ALL servers) is pretty nice and helpful in game. I've been well welcome in a Free company and also in the novice network where they keep things lively but they always try to answer questions when someone has any. (Your experience may differ because I heard of some bad one on some worlds). In duties themselves, I rarely ever had any troubles with anyone as people usually work together to clear things. Just be aware that it's a different thing on steam forums where lot of toxicity is present.

All in all, I personally recommend the game but as the above said, your experience with it may be different from mine. Because of it, I recommend to try the Free Trial, first. As the name implies, it's a TRIAL but you can play indefinitely without a sub up to Lv70 content as of currently. (End of Stormblood). There will be many in game restrictions to it such as being unable to join a free company, I think? For the sake of accuracy, I will be putting 2 links below that lead to the Free Trial AND the official SE link that will explain the restrictions.

Only finished the game today and I can say this. The game keeps you busy if you're into metroidvania and fair grind. (And by fair, I mean fair. Not ridiculous, not too easy, just right.) I played on normal but there is also hard and nightmare. The game offers lot of areas to explore, character customization. Tons of weapons and items to find and make, recipes and quests to clear. None of this felt like a chore to me. Some parts are more difficult even when prepared but otherwise great game from start to end. It's the Castlevania I needed for PC.

Probably the best furry themed game I've played. (Even if many deny it is furry just because they think we're all cancer). It is filled with 2D action battles using sword combos and magic techniques thanks to an adorable partner who's always on your tail.

The story itself is rather good although this is only my opinion but you should enjoy it if you are someone who likes solid RPG games. There are many cute characters and the world is simply beautiful to watch as you explore its every corners.

The leveling is fairly enjoyable without being too much of a pain and the different choices of difficulty will allow any kind of gamers, experienced or not, to enjoy this game. I really recommend this game to anyone who loves Metroidvania RPG kind of games.
