This game makes me feel like I'm in my 20's again. The parkour is one of the most fun ways to traverse an open world game, and the combat is fierce and flowing. There are also hundreds of side quests and activities that you find as you unlock parts of the city. One of my favorite games of all time!

Some may say it's repetitive, but in this case it's not a bad thing as I enjoy the combat enough to have played multiple playthroughs. It's fun to sweep for collectibles and find random quests out in the world while fighting off a small horde. While not truly open world, the maps are large and the transitions between them make sense due to the geography of the island. The world feels grungy and lived in, and while some may find that drab and depressing, I think there's beauty in the ugly.

I stumbled upon this gem while looking at info on VR treadmills. For a fraction of the price, you can walk around in VR just by walking in place. It takes a little bit of practice, like any new skill, and your legs are going to be sore but it adds so much to immersion. So far I've tested it with Amnesia: The Dark Descent, Half-Life 2. Blair Witch, and Arizona Sunshine. It really makes you feel like you are part of the VR world rather than driving a wheelchair around. Really good for helping overweight gamers burn calories from doing what they love.

N4bA is quickly becoming a name to watch in this genre. Their games are like Stephen King's short stories, absolutely dripping with atmosphere that puts you on edge. Play it in a dark room with headphones on for an amazing adrenaline rush!

This is one of my comfort food games. The smooth parkour and satisfying combat keep calling me back for another playthrough.

I'm not a player who scares easily, but this one spooked me. An absolute nightmare, and I mean that in the best way. Made me feel the way the original Silent Hill did 20 years ago. Easily in my top 5 horror games I've ever played.
