I'm not recommending the game to those that are willing to buy it thinking it will be a complete game. (Many of you do)
I like the core concept of the game, that's why I bought it. The (few) things that are implemented work mostly as intended and saying that is a great feat for a small dev team.
However, there are Early access games in Steam where you are able to explore many different things and spend a rather big amount of time, but The Forest isn't one of them. It is genuinely a very Early Access Alpha. It's missing a lot of things, and it's bound to take sometime to be in a "time-sinkable" state.
Because of this I do not recommend it yet, I will definitely when it gets more updates, but that would be in half a year or so.
If you are willing to support it's development though, do purchase it.

I am genuinely scared of being out in the open now that I have a pistol, a M4 without mag, and a military helmet since I might get killed for them.
