Do I recommend this to anyone over the two original games at an equal price? Yes, but it’s a close call. However, I don’t regret my purchase which I will try to explain by the end.
It’s wise to call this a collection rather than a remaster since the visual upgrade is nearly nonexistent. There is some small UI stuff which is welcomed but doesn’t justify a relaunch. They fixed some of the bugs that plagued the older games, but they also introduced new ones, the ones I experienced were random jitters in the audio (at full volume which were distracting as I played with 10% volume), random crashes/freezes and world not acting as intended, some examples include falling through locked trapdoors, sliding up slanted walls meant to be unclimbable, jumping up to a point meant to be reached far later in a level etc.
These bugs mean that in my eyes the relaunch is not much better than the games they’re trying to replace. I liked playing through the games again though, and the achievements were enjoyable to grind for. Although the two games (both og and relaunch) are imperfect, they are still some of my favorite lego games, and I hope this collection is testing the waters for a skywalker saga-esque remake for the HP franchise.

This is truly a game with great potential, however the many bugs and server issues really destroy the user experience and even though i find the game playable, enjoyable and a game i would recommend it, isn't even close to living up to its potential.
