After investigating and narrowing down the source, we identified this tenant as the likely culprit—but by then, he had already left to find another apartment. Upon inspecting the unit, we discovered a broken aquarium and cockroaches everywhere. The floor was littered with pickup artist books, including guides on how to pick up ladyboys and exploit women from poorer countries. He also left behind unpaid rent and a Chromebook with Minecraft running through which I was able to track down his Steam profile.
I hope, with the help of the Steam community, we can hold him accountable and make him pay for the damages and overdue rent. If you know him, please copy and paste this onto his profile.
