Destiny 2 is my favorite blend of shlooter mechanics, co-op/pvp, and RPG bulletmagic.

The feel of the engine is incredible, with noticable care put into the accuracy cones and feel of shooting. Theres a lot going on under the hood to achieve this effect, if you like the game look up how the accuracy cones work! Bungie is a historic pioneer in gunplay and has been innovating since their OG Marathon and HALO days.

A standout for me personally is the feel of the Blink doublejump, available to Warlocks and Hunters (sorry Titans I'd give anything to share).
Hunters have classic mario jumping (and BLINK!!).
Titans feel like jetpack juggernauts. Be nice to them and feed them 🖍 crayons 🖍
Warlocks do weird floatymath to your jump arc, float upwards more and glide down slower - and BLINK!
🎊Blink🎊 jump makes the floatymath teleport you a short distance instead!

Please give blink a chance (arc/prism hunter or void/prism warlock), its like riding a bicycle - you have to fall to your death a lot while learning it and that never stops.
There are many movement techniques in this game that make it feel incredible and unique, and I urge you to try new things!

The cast has excellent representation, with important characters ranging anywhere from normal to cis and with relationships across the spectrum of attraction!

I've played this game for over 700 hours, and over the past 9 months the game has gone from:
Not recognizing my account credentials after they switched to the new launcher
then months later finally letting me log in, to an empty account. No currency, no items, friends list wiped, but still VP of my club

and now as of the most recent patch the game crashes when I try to launch it.

Support told me to wait a couple weeks, that they are trying to address the number of accounts whose data were lost

The game is very fun, and I love playing it with friends, and I am NOT willing to start entirely over. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
709 hours down the drain.
