This game, while the pro plays are amazing, the combo potentials, the reads, the game is very well developed. Now you could say, "why did you put that you don't recommend this game to others?", simply, there's 3 things that make this game the worst fighting game to ever exist.

1) Special spam, there's a lot of legends that can just stay back and spam special attacks with what feels like a hitbox that covers the entire map and you think you'll manage to get around and hit them? Nah, they recover from it faster than light attacks, I'm being serious, some light attacks are significantly slower than some special attacks and it's ridiculous, platinum players nowadays alongside gold players only sig spam and unless you're a god that rules all and have low ms cause their game is very un-optimized in regard to ms and fairness between latency, there is no counter to those who we call sig spammers.

2) Passive Players, you've ever seen a guy that sits back and doesn't attack unless you approach him first or just waits in the air until you attack first so they can counter attack and basically just wreck you cause they don't have the balls to attack first on a fighting game? No? Well Brawlhalla has that too!! The majority of players are actually passive players by a good 85%, while sig spammers take the majority of 60% of players, that other 40% is diamond+. So you'll say "okay so you need to adapt to countering both passive play and sig spam in order to climb up the ladder, but also wish to be the one with the better net" yes and that's not all!!

3) You'll quickly realize that Brawlhalla sometimes doesn't even run correctly in regard to fps, you'll dive into a game that doesn't have any quality nor fps options, the game just plainly tells you that it runs how it runs and that's how it runs.

The developers are too lazy to fix all of these issues, let alone the fact they post out content once in legitimate months, currently they are even trying to nerf combos which are the only thing currently keeping sig spammers from sig spamming and they did that really well, sig spamming is even more common as time passes. So sit down and have a ride at the failed copy of smash bros, completely un-optimized, full of mechanic abusers (special spam and passive playstyle being too op) and horrible servers! I hope you enjoy your stay cause I've almost given up completely at ranked 1v1s and I only focus on ranked 2v2s for the sake of actually playing a game with one of my closest friends.
