I would've recommended this game 2 years ago, before all the tek and metagame evolution (Even before extinction). Ark without the tek elements is an amazing game that challenges the player to find the best way to survive, the best way to tame creatures, also creativity plays a very important role in base building.

In a stagnant game with the same op creatures, same breeding method, same maps, and same colors, there's nothing to enjoy anymore. Add more dinosaur colors, add more skins, create more maps (or work tightly with the modding community. There are AMAZING mods out there!) create more creatures, specially sea ones.

Gosh. Work with the modding community and they can save your already dying game. The future expansion (s) "Genesis" can make the game peak for what, another week or two? Add one or two metadinos ?
You need to add more tasty bits. More useful dinosaurs, more weapons. Maybe new tiers between weapons? New ore? New building blocks?
Come on, just see how minecraft is still relevant after all these years. We know that it isn't the same to create a few pixel blocks and throw them into the game than to create new content for a "dinosaur survival game" but you need to keep trying.
