I played this game from disk many many years ago, and it's just as much fun now as it used to be. While it does kinda suck that the online servers are no longer supported, it's still a nice game to relax to. Just don't relax to much, the enemy have a habit of sending forces at you really early to destroy your economy and screw you over, but that just makes destroying them all the sweeter.

Not a lot can be said about this game that already hasn't been said. Lots of fun, especially with friends. The AI can sometimes be a bit odd, and I know my graphics glitch out from time to time, but I still can't say I've ever had a bad time playing his game.

Pretty neat game. I first found it as a flash game a few years back, then a while ago I found the flash game again and though, man this would be a cool full game. A quick search on steam revealed that it was!


The gameplay of this game is simple, your enemy works exactly like water and will flow out across the landscape dropping into and quickly filling up holes, or build up so much to climb up to higher levels. Your job is to create a defence that blasts back the "creeper" until you can get close enough to destroy the source.


With a campaign, different modes, and a user created content section, this game has infinite playability, and I found to be a ton of fun, even though sometimes a single level would take me 3 hours (I like to play really conservatively)


I found the game to be a ton of fun, with little to no issues I could find. I would definitely recommend.

Alright, I have owned this game for a long time now (Alpha...7 or 8? I can't remember) and this game is a testament to what a group of people who really just want to make a good game can do.


I was first drawn to the game from searching for strategy/management/simulation games. I found this one advertised and instantly fell in love with it. After having my friend buy it for me because I had no way of buying games myself, I have been treated to good update after good update. Every time I found out there is a new update I can't help but stat bouncing in excitement as I rush to the ludeon site to see what is new.


The game plays great as a casual game, personally it has helped keep me sane on days where I had tons of studying, because the difficulty can be set low enough that you can leave your colony for a while and there is little chance of a raid or anything completely destroying your base, or for other times when it's nice to sit back and just watch you place grow. The difficulty can also be set high enough so that even harcore gamers will be struggling to survive. (Or at least I have been told, I only ever play on easy because I don't like losing.)


All in all, the care that Tynan and his team has put into the game really shines through. Considering the game is still in Alpha, and won't be leaving it until Tynan deems the game ready, shows how much Tynan really wants to make sure this game is perfectly polished (I would argue that the game has been amazing since A8 and could have been considered a full game then). The constant contact that Tynan has between the community trying to see what people want to see, and how active the community is at creating mods, really does show what can happen when a group of people who really just care to create something wonderful can do.


All in all, would absolutely recommend this game to all of my friends (and believe me, I have) as a true gem of the indie game scene, and continue to hope that Ludeon Studios continues the great work!

A very good game. If you enjoy games like Terraria, then I highly recommend you get this game. It's still in Beta, so there are a few bugs, but nothing game-breaking that I have found. Overall a very beautiful game.
