After over 1500 hours spent in this game, 500 of them literally wasted and other 500 played just because of boredom I'd say that I'm quite qualified to write a review for this. During the time that I played this game, I have experienced various stages and forms of the game, from the hype of the operations to the glory period of skins and betting, all the way to the free-to-play Global Offensive. What I can say after all this time is that the game is quite great, either if we talk about having fun with some friends (real friends or virtual ones), as well as being competitive and reaching your peak. Personally, I had a great time with my friends and I also met a lot of great people from all around the world thanks to this game. My biggest achievements are that I reached 'Legendary Eagle' both in matchmaking and wingman, and level 6 on Faceit. Considering the fact that I used to gamble and trade a lot back in the day I can tell you for sure that it's not worth buying skins!
Also, you can be good at this game on roughly every PC or even laptop with decent specs but if you think about becoming pro, you must get a 144Hz monitor and a capable CPU and GPU for minimum 250-300 frames per second.
I know that the game is free to play now, but trust me, you don't wanna experience the free to play version, with people shooting you through doors and walls (: , so consider buying the prime version, it's not that much and it's definitely worth it. Have fun!
