Give Garry's Mod a play. It's a "giant sandbox" that gives you a large selection of tools, props, locations, and interesting things to mess with. Plenty of gamemodes gives you the chance to mix it up a bit and interact in different ways, not to mention all the user content that can be created and added in, too.
