My most favourite game ever.
My friend recommended this game to me, so I bought it and played it.
At first I couldn't even get past the first boss, but after restarting the game with a different class, I learned the mechanics, and then the fight was a breeze.
As I played through the game, the same thing happened, I'd start fighting a boss, it would be challenging, I'd try, try again, and eventually, it would click, the mechanic would be in my head and the fight would be as easy as pie.
This is part of what I LOVE about this game, the complex mechanics and difficulty make it so much better when you finally beat the boss.
The landscape and music make the whole adventure that much more thrilling, as you wonder the forrest (while being absolutely destroyed by monsters) you hear the quiet forresty noises, you enter the boss room and BOOM, the dramatic music kicks in, making the whole fight feel like an epic clash between a poor human and a gigantic monster.
I am weirdly finding it hard to get into the DLC though.
