Its just fantastic, I loved every moment I spent in the world, I kept wanting to see more.
I loved the huge optional areas that show you the age of the world.
Play on hard if you want to interact with the neat health system.
FYI: Works flawlessly on Linux too.

They upgraded the base building but then removed any reason to build one.
The map is small, resources are everywhere, power drain is tiny, and if you install the sensor room you will be literally blinded by the amount of fragments that show up.
The 2 vehicles they added suck and are made redundant by the prawn suit they buffed.

The story is a very cobbled together mess that actively undermines any mood they try to build, and its own plot.

It is very pretty, but that's all.

Unfortunately, for a game of this type where you prestige and upgrade to go ever faster, it has a huge limitation.
There is a maximum animation speed to digging, so even when you have + a million % dig power, the first layers will never go faster than 1/sec, NOR can you ever overkill and dig 2, 3,4 layers at a time.
Which means you won't see your upgrades have any effect, until you spend an hour digging out all the 1 hit levels.

starts out seemingly basic and lame, quickly becomes more complex and cool as new mechanics are added with unlocks
