To be honest, I can understand why so many people are gettin a bit upset at the 1.0 release, but I can also say as someone who has tried some dev work themselves (it didnt get very far XD) and is a gigantic fan of Imsims this is a keeper to me. Yeah theres some bugs, theres some quirkiness that can happen occasionally, but the amount of systems in play to make the game run as well as it does, both from a gameplay stand point AND from the AI and NPCs interacting and living in the world, for a small dev team makin a little Indie Detective sim, I absolutely love it. I have played throughout most of the EA dev cycle and can say it has made good strides forward. The new cases and content are really fun, though I still suck with sniper killers, and I adore the atmosphere very much. The amount of possible clues and tie ins and relationship stuff that can happen TO PEOPLE COMPLETELY UNRELATED TO MY MURDER INVESTIGATION is bonkers. Im not running into as many of the frames and optimization issues some of the other reviews are talkin about, mostly just hangup sometimes when Im opening my caseboard and (rarely after like 2-3 hours of playing) I have had a little bit of frame loss, but a save and reload usually fixes that. Overall I like where the game is, I can't wait to see where it is going, and if the game looks like you are interested, then accept you may run into some of the issues some people talk about, might be not your cuppa with how the gameplay goes, or the fact that you cant willy nilly shoot anybody and everybody with a gun. I mean, you are supposed to be *solving* murders, not making new ones. Would be awesome to see and have like consequences? Absolutely. Could be really awesome to have more indepth conversations with the NPCs. But honestly, I love solvin cases and just walkin the streets half the time. Regardless, see you in the Shadows friends.

Besides the "grazing" problem that most players of WWAATD have more than likely run into, this is a very unique game. Physics based, Gladiatorial combat simulator with perma death. Physics can be a little janky here and there, but to be honest from release to now the game has made massive strides. Combat was once even harder, with the fact that NPC combatants DID NOT have to suffer from stamina loss like you did, almost EVERY fight where it was you versus many others was a guaranteed loss. The new camera (though I still prefer the old one) is very immersive and once gotten a hang of is actually quite fun to play with. I feel like I have more control over my character than ever, and as I have read the in game guide book I have learned more and more with the game and how to fight even around some of the jank that does occur. SERIOUSLY give this game a shot if its interesting to you at all. THIS WAS A PROJECT STARTED BY ONE MAN who has attracted himself a small team of talented and dedicated folks who wanted to work alongside him. This is a great example of a Passion project at its finest. It will be hard, you will need to manage money, fame, Patron favor, your own gear's durability, and your own health and stamina to survive, and yes you will die, prolly a lot. But the dopamine rush of fighting, learning, and ultimately winning is truly worth it someitmes. Hell I'm nearing 50 total hours and STILL haven't retired a single Aspirant. But I will, I plan to. For We Who Are About To Die have nothing more to live for than the fight!

EDIT: WE UP TO 3 VICTORIES AND THE H A P P Y CHEMICAL FLOODS MY BRAIN EACH TIME I MAKE IT.

EDIT EDIT: Aight this update was huge. It takes some getting used to if you had played before the new body models and animations, but it feels better with every patch in my eyes. The game keeps getting better, more fun, and OH GOOD LORD THE H A P P Y B R A I N C H E M I C A L.

Tower Unite is a game full of games, a wonderful place to hang out and play games with your friends or run around and make new ones. The Gameworlds allow for lots of gamin fun, with the devs constantly working on improving them, adding new maps, a new game mode, or even optimizing the gamemodes already there. And the plaza? The plaza is pure hangout central. Go hang in the casino, play in the arcade, go bowling, whatever. BUT FO REAL theres lots of love put in to this. Get it, tell your friends or get it for them, get some more bodies up in here up in here.

Edit: Tower keeps getting regular updates, the PVP gamemode from Gmod Tower is back as SDNL, which is fast paced almost "quake" like arena fighting for up to 12 people. The game keeps regularly getting patches, QOL, and balances to lotsa stuff. Plus there is planned VR support, workshop maps for gamemodes, more and more content that just regularly excites me. For real, this game's advertising is almost entirely word of mouth, I hope it spreads more as more content gets added in.

After playing and looking through a couple reviews I can at least say I agree that THIS IS EARLY ACCESS. Stuff is rough, but if you liked the first SYNTHETIK enough I can at least say this is something to look forward to. And yeah, the soundtrack is already awesome, the graphical update is great, and I REALLY can't wait for Co-op again

Edit: Co-op update bein out is pretty spicy! The class reworks are flowing together nice, all the different co-op abilities really feel strong when you can mix it up right. So far the only problem is the 4 player balancing at the moment, some bosses get WAY more projectiles than can be survivable, but up until then the romp was a load of fun. Have made me it pretty far doing 2 man co-op runs though.

Whether you believe in REAL ghosts or not, you've probably heard of the ghost hunting shows like Ghost Hunters or Ghost Adventures. This game is the whole concept with the possibility of people ACTUALLY DYING from the ghosts. Its hilarious, its spooky, and its actually a hella lot of fun. The concept is simple, go in with your variety of ghost hunting gear (everything from the shows trust me) and figure out what ghost is there. There are bonus objectives you can complete to get extra cash and each completed objective whether or not you successfully figure out the ghost gets you cash. Use all that cash to get extra and new ghost hunting tools. Easy! Oh and don't die

Cortex Command is a pretty interesting twist on the RTS genre, primarily with its Side Scroller nature and making your "Leader" Character your first resource miner. With a good chunk of races to play, many items, weapons, units, and defenses you can build, the game adds itself a fantastic amount of tactic needed in any late game stand offs. Early game, however, is rough and tough, both players are thrown into a nearly empty world, forced to mine and barely defend your brain to hopefully win out. All of this makes the game excellent to those interested. It is only split screen, as there is no online multiplayer, can be a little off at first, but once comfortable, both players can easily enjoy the challenge Cortex Command provides. Singleplayer pits you against bots, but they are by no means pushovers. Yeah they do kinda just charge head first into combat, but this can lead to them easily getting the jump on players. If any of this interests you, I'd give Cortex Command a try.

While I know this game flies under the flag of Adult Swim Games, its nothing like you would expect. A wonderful piece of first person "roguelite", WASTED is if Fallout didn't have any "reliable" people survive nuclear fallout, and now everyone is just dumb bar crawlers who are trying to get as drunk as possible. Each cooler is a maze-like murder fest of raiders, mutated animals and creatures, robots, and the ever popular Syndicate of Buzzkills, or the SOB. Take too long on a floor murdering your way through and stealing fanny packs, ammo, junkfood, and whatever fits in your tiny pockets and youll get a nasty minigun toting SOB Badass to murder you in a few seconds flat. However, find your way through enough floors and you will find one of the fantastic boozes, radiated and ready to give you a mutation hangover. Maybe it'll be good, like health back when you kill people, maybe it'll be bad and you'll take more knockback from attacks but move way faster. Which will you chug? Will you get wasted? Or get wasted trying?

Mediocre, doesn't do too bad but not too good either. Good little time waster but if you want to be crazy serious about it I suggest you look for a different zombie survival game. PvP is simple, zombies are borderline out of your mind easy, but overall can be enjoyed. Yes there are money exclusive stuff, no you don't need to pay for them if you don't want to. Stay away or don't. I'm not a cop.

So everybody knows our favorite "Match Four" games, like Bejewled and all of that. But this is just about the best one I have ever played. Think of an RTS alongside a match four, and all of your resources are obtained based off of your successful matches. Complete special matches known as rituals to increase your limit of resources, perform a set of tasks like complete a number of matches, don't use a resource type, etc in order to lock a room to your current tomb, allowing it to stay when you are defeated and carry on to your next tomb, and unlock new rooms with new abilities or units to use in the current and all future runs. Summon creatures, slay heroes, and make the greatest dungeon you can is all the point of Tomb of Tyrants, and it is definitely worth a bit more than its price tag.

TO SAVE OUR MOTHER EARTH FROM ANY ALIEN ATTACK! FROM VICIOUS GIANT INSECTS WHO HAVE ONCE AGAIN COME BACK! WE'LL UNLEASH ALL OUR FORCES, WE WON'T CUT THEM ANY SLACK! THE EDF DEPLOYS!

EDF, a game I never thought I would get to own or play, but I'm honestly glad that isnt the way things worked out. Blowing giagantic ants and spiders out of the sky with giant rockets, shotguns, laser cannons, and miniguns is way more satisfying than it should be, and all of the game just gets better the stronger you get, with the weapons being more ludicrous each version and variant you get. Get the game, get the gun, get the insects murdered. And if you do, good luck forgetting that tune, any of the tunes.
