Great turn-based RPG that takes about 30 hours to complete if you just run straight through the story. The story is fantastic and has some really nice twists that will definitely leave your jaw dropped. Doesn't do anything revolutionary with it's quick-time mechanics but battles are still very engaging, fun and hyper-stylized. Would recommend this game even to those who are not big turn-based RPG fans as the other elements of this game carry it a lot. Highly recommend.

Willdgate is a fun game to play with buddies. The ship combat is really fun and frantic. There is gunplay in this game but it definitely takes a backseat to the ship combat. Overall this game is really fun to play with your friends and very different than any other game I've played. Highly recommend.

A total adrenaline rush, Mullet Madjack doesn't stop from the first second you turn on the game. Fast and frenetic it's a good time from start to finish.

This game is fast, fun and frantic! The level destruction can change the entire dynamic of a match. Pick this up with a couple buddies and you will have a great time.

I would say I'm an average fighting game player, however this is the one I've probably put the most time into. I think this game does a better job than any other fighting game being great for newcomers as well as having the depth needed for seasoned veterans. With Modern controls being a nice bridge for new players Street Fighter 6 checks the box of easy to play but hard to master.

I've never really played a Madden game except for this one and I wish there was a mixed feelings option. My thoughts are from the perspective of new player playing Franchise mode solo, no online.

Main thoughts if you don't wish to read on; the game is fun but kind of clunky.

Franchise mode is fun and going through a season is interesting, however you cannot create your own team and build it from the ground up; you must take over an existing team. You can relocate your team so you can customize them (very limited) but the entire process is so clunky to do so. There's an entire checklist to do it and the easiest way to find that checklist is to look at a guide online. I wish there was a way to just start your team from the bottom and build them up.

After you go through your checklist and you have a new team you still have all the existing players throughout the league. Something I wanted to do was start completely fresh and I simmed 10 years into the future. This process took over 30 minutes which seems insane but maybe that's just me.

Gameplay is fun but the AI seems to be a little overpowered when it comes to both offense and defense. On offense your receiver has to be WIDE open or it'll almost certainly result in an interception. If they are slightly open even receivers with really good catch ratings it'll hit them in the hands and they'll drop it. On defense I have a very difficult time stopping them on 3rd down. It's like they have a 6th sense and always find an open receiver. There is arcade mode which mitigates these a bit, but it then swings in the opposite direction where everything is so easy and your receivers will catch everything thrown at them. There doesn't seem to be a lot of in between.

One last side note, the menus and the notifications you get constantly are so clunky. Navigating them is cumbersome and you'll frequently click the wrong option and it'll navigate you to the wrong screen and so on. The user interface is pretty terrible and unintuitive where to go to perform certain actions in the menus. The entire system in my mind needs to be overhauled and make it easier for the user to perform the actions they wish to without going through multiple menus and screens.

Since I've put almost 70 hours into this game at the time of the review I think it's impossible for me to say I didn't at least enjoy the game, but I definitely think it has room to improve. The game is fun but all the side stuff like menus and interacting with things outside of the game leave a lot to be desired.

I would consider myself an intermediate fighting game player. I think this game speaks to both sides of the spectrum, whether this is your first fighting game ever or you've been playing fighting games for years this has the right low barrier to entry and high skill ceiling needed to keep you interested. If you aren't looking to dive deep into the mechanics of the game it just feels good to play in general with an online mode that seems to do an excellent job of pairing you against people at your skill level. I would highly recommend this game to anyone looking to get their fighting game fix in.

A fun cooking game with some action and puzzle elements. The time limits on your "battles" add to an intensity to the game where you need to hunt down ingredients but don't always have time to find exactly what you need. Really enjoyed my time with this one and would highly recommend.

This strange 8-bit horror game packs some tense and creepy moments. One of the strangest games I've played I really enjoyed my time with this one and would recommend it to anyone looking for a strange story driven game with some horror elements baked in.

I've always enjoyed Rougelike games and this is one of the better ones. If Dead Cells and Bastion had a baby it'd be Hades and that's a really good thing.
