A solid addition to the Deus Ex series. Gameplay-wise it's very similar to Human Revolution, but that's no bad thing - if you're a fan of the Deus Ex gameplay then you'll be happy with more of the same. Shoot or sneak or sweet-talk your way through a dystopian cyberpunk corporatocracy while lightly tackling some philosophical issues. The story is more intimate than Human Revolution: less grand but more engaging. Similarly, it takes place in fewer locales and is mostly centred round Prague, which acts as a giant hub city. This also makes the game feel less wide-reaching, but it lives and breathes more as the city reacts to your choices. The low number of levels can make the game feel repetitive towards the end, but the levels that are there are beautifully realised. On that note, the graphics are stunning - though very resource-intensive; on top-end computers you'll still need to tweak some of the settings down. Even on lower settings, you'll find yourself stopping sometimes just to admire the view. Combat and dialogue are fluid, there's loads of different ways to tackle every problem, and there's plenty of engaging missions and side-missions. If you like previous Deus Ex games, or other FPS-RPG hybrids, then I'd recommend this.
