Tried for 20 minutes, literally, to call in extract. No matter where I went or how many times i tried, it never worked so i had to walk back (took another 15 minutes).

One guy took one full ar mag (30 rnds) plus two glock mags but one of his shots broke both my arms, caused bleeding and made me dizzy.

Ill try again in like 6 months but F this game until then.

Im still mad about PSN region locked BUT,

Honestly its my absolute favorite game.

Im not very sweaty so I play 8-10 sometimes but I LOVE goofing off in 6-7 on any planet and faction. I love goofy builds and armors. I love all mortar erads and only strat blitz, today i did only shield and spear for weapons. loved it.

For low levels: host your own game so they cant kick you while you learn. Call out strikes before you throw them and throw them at a 45 degree angle for good distance. You can also kick toxic players. That said, SAY YOU'RE NEW and give them a chance. they may become your best friends in game. When you get the flow, start answering SOS beacons and let the host guide you. its their game after all, not everyone does a clean sweep or farm.

There are bad apples in the community, yes, but tbh I have 5 pages of friends now and I enjoy every last person i play with.

Best game i own. very very proud of this community. even with our differences and issues. Amazing people all over the world.

Ubisoft is a trash company, if you can get this game on sale, its totally worth it. prob the most refined and expansive game in the series. im 30 hrs in almost and im only 33% done.

Early in game review so ill keep it brief and moderately unbiased.

wiki is your friend.
very solid foundation for an early access game.
yet to encounter any bugs are glitches.
mechanics in place function well and make sense.
game doesnt hold your hand
dont have to waste your time with typical survival game nonsense tasks

that said bring friends, very large map.
due to large map it took 30 in game days to find a cave. the game is random gen so just bad luck. but still bring friends to help search and help with bosses. Is totally possible to play solo, as im doing. for now.

storage trunks dont offer much space but you can stack them and place as many as you want so who cares i guess. maybe there's an upgraded trunk?

sailing is fun, storms give cast away vibe. textures are meh so the world loads hella fast and the world itself looks pretty atmospheric.

for a game so far 8/10
for an early access? im genuinely surprised so 10/10 for now.
