tl;dr

Helldivers 2 is a shining gem of a game in recent gaming, and is one of the most memorable experiences in gaming. It has an incredible player experience, has no shortage of content, and consistently receives new content and balance patches. Helldivers 2's monetization is some of the best out of any game, with everything in the game very easily obtainable for free. The game is incredible but has it's bugs.

LONGER REVIEW:

Helldivers 2 has one of the most player-friendly battlepass and currency systems out of any game in recent history.
Helldivers 2 has some of the best moments in gaming during high-intensity fights.
Helldivers 2 premium currency is extremely easily obtainable for free. (When grinding its possible to get almost 1300 supercredits an hour)

Almost every single item in the game is viable.
Cosmetics are dirt cheap, they can go as low as 75 cents for helmet / armor.
The free battlepass rewards MUCH more than several of the paid battlepasses combined, and gives you well enough super credits to get a paid battlepass after completion. (when accounting the credits you get from just playing missions)
Almost every single planet is a unique experience because of the combination of biomes, storms, and other modifiers.
The game is (so far) being consistently updated every weeks with new content.
Helldivers 2 developers will actively go into player matches, and drop unreleased content into their matches early for the players to use.
Helldivers 2 developers are extremely transparent.
Near-weekly balance patches to make sure the weapons that feel underpowered aren't entirely outshined by the meta.

Fanbase is semi-toxic, good chance you get kicked during a match.
Bugs aren't overwhelming, but are common with a patch.

tl;dr

Red Dead Redemption 2 is a masterpiece of a cowboy style game, dealing with the end of the cowboy era and the civilization of the wild west with several endings, hundreds upon hundreds of hours of unique content, and a story that WILL make you cry. This game is genuinely the game of the century.

As of 146 hours, I only have just NOW finished the main story and I still have an entire extra ending to do, and the epilogue to do.

The storytelling in this game is phenomenal, they must've hired god himself to come down and beam the story of red dead into the developers like a prophecy because the story is incredible.

The graphics are beautiful, and the sound design, voice acting, and gunplay are all so incredible that you will find yourself extremely immersed in the game.

Every minute option you can think of doing has been accounted for by the developers. This is not an exaggeration. LITERALLY every option has been thought of. There is so much detail in this game to the point where there are realistic horse ball sack weather physics.

There are very minimal bugs in Red Dead Redemption 2.

The game is extremely replayable.

Red Dead Redemption 2 comes with Red Dead Online for free.

Red Dead Online is abandoned and does not receive updates to the game or the anticheat.

tl;dr

Destiny 2 is a once beautiful MMORPG with brilliant potential ruined by incompetence by higher-ups in the company producing it.

LONGER REVIEW:

Destiny 2's raids and dungeons are incredible experiences with friends.
Destiny 2 fosters one of the most friendly communities in all of gaming. VERY few players will be rude and nearly everyone that you meet will be willing to help you.

Destiny 2's campaigns in specific dlcs can be good experiences.
Destiny 2 has a large backlog of content to play.

Destiny 2 is updated regularly.

Destiny 2's PvP mode is not balanced.
Destiny 2's competitive mode requires DLC to play. (Required DLC changes every year, so you're better off buying every DLC to play pvp)
Destiny 2's events are entire nothing burgers. They are el generico "Cosmetics are content."

Crucible (This game's PvP mode) is horribly under maintained and under developed.
Gambit (A PvEvP mode) is INCREDIBLY under maintained and under developed. This mode is entirely abandoned.
The tutorial is near non-existent. The tutorial is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bad that mario maker levels made by a 10 year old in 2019 would be more functional that the piece of steaming ♥♥♥♥ that is the "New Light Experience."
The most recent $100 DLC is one of the worst DLCs in this game's history, and the story of the DLC is entirely incoherent, alongside the fact Lightfall was incredibly small, incredibly overhyped, had false advertisement, and originally was meant to be the end of Destiny's main story.

This game is NOT free-to-play. It REQUIRES you to purchase several DLCs that can be up to 100 dollars each.

I have played this game for nearly a decade at this point. I genuinely wish I could give this "Yes! You should play it too!" but it hurts me to say no. You should not play destiny 2.

tl;dr

Apex Legends is a battle royale that excels in it's movement and gunplay but has some of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and scummiest developer known to man. It's like they plucked them straight from the boiler rooms of hell.

LONGER REVIEW:

Apex has an extremely high skill ceiling and is a very fun and competitive game.
Apex has the best movement mechanics and gunplay in any fps.

Characters are constantly being rebalanced.

The community is horribly toxic. You will not find a single nice player.
The servers are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. You will not get a single stable server.
The gamemodes are terrible. You will not have fun in any gamemode other than battle royale.


You are not mean't to win matches in apex. Apex has a system called Engagement Optimized Matchmaking that purposefully puts you in matches that you are not supposed to win, against people miles higher skilled than you. Engagement Optimized Matchmaking is a system patented and implemented by EA to put the player repeatedly into lobbies they are not meant to win, and then after a set amount of matches determined by how bad the player did in the matches it puts the player in lobbies they are meant to do well in. This system is made explicitly to inflate the egos of players into thinking they are much better and for players to continue playing the game because of this. This is even implemented into the Ranked mode.

TL;DR:
Team Fortress 2 (Or TF2) is a popular class-based shooter with insane customizability and fun gameplay with a borderline-horrible community and a deathly bad issue with updates.

LONGER REVIEW:
I played TF2 for a while. It is shattering for me to write such a negative review for a game that watched me grow up from a child to a teenager and soon an adult. Team Fortress 2 is a very replayable game that is very fun but it gets old. The community is either the most toxic community you'll ever meet or the unfunniest group of people you could've never imagined. In my hours I have had so many ridiculously bad experiences with the community that it is unmatched by any other game.

Team Fortress 2 is a very fun game. The gameplay is diverse and enjoyable. It is (for the most part) well-balanced, with every class and most weapons serving a purpose and case where its useful.

The "Updates" TF2 gets are simply cash grab cases that they release once a year that they put random cosmetics from the workshop in that have 0 correlation with eachother.

The lack of actual updates in TF2 really kills it for me. I've played TF2 for such a long time but it is just a dead game. It's life support was cut. As of this review we are LONG from the last major update, currently at 2004 days.

The community is horrible. On one side its stupidly toxic and has a HUGE gatekeeping issue. On the other side you have the most horrendous humor and insufferable players. I'm talking r/dankmemes browsers that still find doge and nyancat with impact font over it funny.
