I gotta say, it's quite easy to get invested into the story of this game along with its combat... that is, if you get past the first 10 hours or so of the game. Besides the slow start, I love the idea behind CrossCode, its story, the characters, and the combat system. Would highly recommend it, especially as it looks like there will be constant content updates for the future.

One of the best VNs I've read. Not only is there more than enough animation to keep the readers hooked in the first chapter, the writing is simply perfect for the rest of the story, allowing readers to connect to the characters Sol and Mil.

This is a visual novel about not only fault's storyline, but also about the efforts of the countrymen who take action in order to revolt against the corrupt governments that can be paralleled in many of today's events. This is a visual novel that will make you cry, and smile in such a short story.

Overall, this is a significant improvement over milestone one in my opinion, and a must-read, even if you did not like the first - this one is much more exciting, interesting, and, basically, "feels-inducing." 100/10.
