TEKKEN 8 Is one of my favourite entries so far.

Tekken 8 Brings the finale to the long time Father son fued...for now and with it brings a boat load of new content;

there is never something to NOT do in tekken, For Lore Fans you get the story mode which has a strong narrative and really interactive in comparison to 7 bringing you a really satisfying conclusion to the tekken lore for now, and character episodes little side stories for everyone sfavourite characters to see where they go in the King of the iron fist tournament.

For Local play fans you have your classic player v player but also additional modes like returning favourite tekken ball in all of its glory, in basically a great violent volleyball..

for online fans ranking (Despite Plugging) is an a lot better experience and I honestly found it alot more enjoyable than Tekken 7 ranked. (If your not PLUGGING)
Online fans also get the tekken fight lounge which is just honestly Battle Hub from Street Fighter which is a good hub to battle and meet new people.

customization while recently showing its flaws is still really good making you be able to dress up any fighter to your liking.

and for players learning the game this is the easiest game to learn tekken, not cause the game got easier but because there a lot more resources on learning your characters vital moves and combos rather than the traditional "here is 100 moves BS it" which makes learning and taking time in practice more rewarding.

MY ONLY Issue is the weird Micro transaction practices they are trying to pull, while be it Cheaper than street fighter 6 and Mortal Kombat 1 Tekken's shop is still leaving a bad taste in my mouth because a Majority of its shop items were free in previous Tekken's
and I'm especially not a fan of Tekken Fight pass which is MORE Recycled content from seven in the Fortnite battlepass template, Yuck. it overall really ruins what in my opinion is one of the main appeals of tekken and pulls it from being a 10/10 cause its just a crappy scheme

Overall thought its a great Fighting game and a GREAT Tekken. an easy reccomend to anyone who enjoy fighting games. this is in my opinion the greates Fighting game of 2024.

EDIT as of october 8 2024: it just keeps getting worse. Poor decision after poor decision ruins what at its core is an incredible fighting game. its no Current MK1 but its just so unfortuntate that they keep making crappy decisions which is why I reduced my review from a 9.9 to a 9.6.
