I don't think a video game has made me hate dogs this much since the time when everybody would play Modern Warfare. What a weird freak of a game. It's a masterfully crafted piece of art. I am disappointed and I hate it. 10/10.

Straight up, this is a weird game. If you play alone, it's an irreverent dating sim with a colorful cast of, frankly, mostly terrible people (and one good boy) that you're trying to get with. There's multiple paths, secret endings, and even a kinky avocodo centered... experience... If you're playing with friends, it's all that but with a competitive multplayer for you screw over your friends by not letting them get screwed. Beautiful.

After coming off fresh from playing this game, I will go ahead and say, I thought this game was gorgeous. Granted, the puzzles weren't too difficult, but then again, the game is called A Tale of Two Sons, not A Puzzle of Two Sons. In its essence, this game is more of an interactive story. However, to really get the full enjoyment and characterization out of this game, you really need to go out of your way to explore and interact with your environment. For example, through interactions I discovered that the younger brother is better with animals than the elder but the elder is more liked by adults . Some take issue with the story the game tells but I found it enjoyable and enough to tug at my heartstrings at moments. Periodically throughout the game, there will be benches that allow you to see the carefully sculpted vistas that give you a sense of the magical world these brothers live in. Granted, the game may not have too much replay value, but you definietely owe it to yourself to play it once. Even if you have to wait until it goes on sale to be able to do it, buy this game when you have the chance.
