It's like gambling but instead of losing your child's college fund you lose 15 dollars, and you're also playing alone, and there's jokers that do things... so yeah basically gambling.

go buy it you'll have fun.

Overall this game is great, the story can be understood even without playing the first two games or reading the books that it's based off on and it's graphics have aged great for a game that was made in 2015. (I'm not even done with the game but it's been pretty great so far that I decided to make a review on it.)

Combat - The combat is solid, easy to understand and simplistic while allowing further customization and specification with the skill trees. The signs are easy to understand and use and are explained very well during the tutorial and very rewarding if you learn how to combine them instead of just spamming quen (shield sign).

Story - It is great, decisions you make actually impact the story, but the dialogue options are a bit confusing sometimes but that's not really a problem. The story in white orchard and velen are typically where most people stop playing but if you keep going after that it'll be rewarding, and with the recap every loading screen it's not hard to keep track of what part of the story you're in, this is a great feature if you play it during off hours and not regularly.

Graphics, game play, etc. - What can I say, it looks great for a 2015 game there's mods you can install to make it look even better and yes it does have it's fair share of bugs but these are usually hard to come by, I personally have only encountered one during my time playing the game.

So yeah overall great game don't regret buying and if you manage to finish it and want more, there's 2 great DLCs and 2 more games made by the same company.
