Did everything DaD does but better.
Got nuked within a few weeks by the greedy devs.
Wouldn't recommend.

PVP is optional even on a PVP server.
Even when opting In for PVP, no one else is opted in so it's still PVE.
There is no base destruction, no raiding, no PVP.
This game truly is a waste of time. Nothing like Rust, nothing like Ark, nothing like Pokemon with Guns.
If you're a PVP enjoying, avoid this at all costs.

If you like PVE, there's no challenging elements either, it's super basic, repetitive and easy.

If you like base building, excellent. Enjoy it.

Games still as boring as it was 7 years ago when I first tried it.
Lackluster PVP, if it even exists, PVE is mild, possibly a good game to enjoy with some friends one night a year to do some RP as pirates if you're doing it in VR. Steam charts are showing approx 2K-5K players so your chance of encountering others are slim.

The F2P changes have fixed nothing.
The matches are still unbalanced and boring, half the servers are still offline or dead and practically unplayable.
Not worth the download

DungeonBorne is a MUCH better game, a clone with none of the issues this has.
Can't wait for the next play test.
