Five Harts Under One Roof is not just a game, it is more like an interactive romcom movie, where you choose your adventure. Not perfectly polished in every aspect, but very well made in general.
Translations seem a little odd at times, but over all it is completely understandable.
Transitions from scene to scene were also a little glitchy at times, but only for a second or so, and that didn't really bother me. The acting is surprisingly good, and full motion video works well for this type of thing.
Would love to see more stuff like this to be honest!

Dragon Age games have always been among my favorites. I own a boxed copy of the DA:Origins Ultimate Edition as well, but recently decided to buy the digital versions for easier access. If you are willing to risk a little headache with possible compatibility issues on modern hardware and OS versions, DA:Origins is still a very very good game with an actual plot and many interesting characters and locations well worth the money.

The best Harry Potter game I've seen yet, good fun even though (like all the other HP games) it really wants to hold your hand and guide you a bit too much, and has some pretty repetitive stuff to fill your playtime with - Freely exploring Hogwarts and it's surroundings is fun none the less!

If you are like me, and used to play (and love) the original release of Under a Killing Moon, then this is probably true nostalgia gold for you as well!

I would perhaps recommend this for anyone looking for a decent challenging adventure game, but definitely for those of you who are already familiar with the series - just for the nostalgia factor. This is Tex Murphy, done a little better than in the day, but still Tex Murphy.

After 84 hours, and 75% of the game completed, I really think this is one of the best (if not the best) AC concept ever.

A large map (almost) free to roam, plenty of different activities to waste your time with, and some very nice detailing like all the sea shanties, different types of ships, animals, environments, etc. And of course to top it all - It's about pirates! Arrgh. ;)

However - There are plenty of problems as well.

First of all, Uplay - What the F*** Ubisoft?
If you force people to use your software, please, make sure it actually works without problems. My installation works OK, haven't had much problems, but pretty please, don't ever gamble with peoples save game files - I've lost count of all the discusssions I've already seen about lost saves. (!)
(Oh and with a game offered on Steam, could you also consider not having the same default hotkeys for some actions, like screenshots, as Steam has?)

Second, No Ubisoft, NO! Bad boy. You DO NOT SELL cheats and timesavers as DLCs. That's just wrong, and takes away much from the actual gaming experience.. It is an accepted part of games like this one, that you should either waste your time playing right, or waste your time cheating on Google. It is all a vital part of the complete experience.
I've also seen plenty of people wondering how to deactivate their purchased cheats, after they've made the MISTAKE of activating a cheat pack. ( I'm not one of them, don't know if there is a way to do this?)

Third, a game still actively sold and supported as far as I know, should really be a finished and polished product by TWO YEARS after release. But NO... There are some crazy bugs out there, like for instance - Today I was carrying out an assassination contract. Killed everyone I found in the target area, but did not find my target. Tried this for multiple times, until I decided to try and drown myself. Strangely, that helped. o_O The target appeared.

Don't want to go on whining, so I'll just end this by saying that this actually is a great game,
but be prepared for all sorts of small glitches and problems, and keep in mind you are likely to end up seeing some crazy s**t that's (hopefully) not there by design, before you've reached 100% in game.

P.S.

POSSIBLE SPOILER:
I was really disappointed to see we only got a glimpse of some of the most interesting characters in the game, before we lose them for good. I would have wished to see much more of Blackbeard and Mary. Specially I think it's a shame how soon Mary was just "written off", without a good background story...

A very nicely done (somewhat) interactive story more than an actual game, but once I started - I couldn't stop.
The graphics, soundtrack and narrative all fit together beautifully, and make the story come alive.

Be warned though, this is an art game and you need to appreciate the art, in order to appreciate the game.

With 11 minutes of playtime on the clock, I gave up - for now.

I ended up in complete darkness, and could not figure out a way to continue.
That's fine - but after less than 15 minutes, having to start over from the top just seemed a bit much,
as so far the game really had not convinced me yet, and I got a feeling like there wasn't much more to look forward to.

I'm still a bit undecided - This could be OK, perhaps someone would even like this kind of a challenge,
but on the other hand I personally haven't felt like trying again yet after that first run.
Not impressed, would not recommend based on what I've seen.

Huzzah!

This is a very well done point-and-click. There are some small things that perhaps could have been done better, but then again no game is ever perfect, and the big picture is what counts in the end.
If you like The Monkey Island games, and similar games out there - you will probably like this one as well!

Bought this on sale for next to nothing, now after about 9 hours of gameplay, and finishing the story (for the first time), I simply must find out how this continues. So I'll be getting the sequels - No doubt about it!

This is a tough one. Been playing about an hour, and I feel like I still don't have a clue what this is all about.
The concept is different, original, that's for sure. Also the puzzles seem kind of fun to figure out.
On the other hand, I almost gave up after about five to ten minutes - as the first real puzzle in the game was IMO, too hard to grasp as a starter.

I'll recommend this to anyone wanting to test their wits, and their mental health ;)

A great start to what I hope will be a long series of chapters!

Wonderfully detailed, funny, and original take on the otherwise very traditional point and click -type adventure.

Simply can't wait to see more!
