If you've ever been on the fence in any way shape or form about this game, just get it. There's so much ridiculously creative troves of community support and life in this game. Anything from TTT to Murder to just Sandbox with friends is a certifiable hoot and or holler. Trust me, you'll like the way ya play; I guarantee it.

This game is Really Good! The controls are simple, but clean and easy to get used to. The gameplay is smoothe and when you die you don't feel cheated. That and if you really struggle through a level it feels really good whenever you finally complete it. Not to mention the overall feel of the game, the art is extremely clean and fits the subject matter very well, not to mention the music. The music is amaizingly well done. Overall This game is really frickin' good! 10/10 - "It's pretty good."

I have 2000 hours in this game, but the fact that Valve won't step in and for once actually acknowledge it's community by fixing the bot problem. It's very showing. Think about just how quick we got a fix when people were un-crating unusuals, god forbid. But everyone who wants to play on Valve servers now has to fight waves of bots that spam audio and have active aimbot. If Valve won't fix it, I wont play it!

This games character build up is solidly amusing for about 5 hours then becomes dull and kinda repetitive. Also this game has the inate ability to decide when you get to the end of a tournament you need to have garbage cards and literally win based on luck, if I wanted a headache I would take the money I spent on this game and go to Vegas for 1 round. This game has SO much potential but ultimatley falls flat do to unwinable and even annoying conversations. You would think you can turn off conversations but sadly no you have to listen To ALL the things they have to stay if you are still in the match. If you bought this for the TF2/Borderlands skins it's not only a grind to win the objectives but then you end up with the thing you didn't really want and have to return to the grind to retry achieving another attempt to get an item. The feel is perfect, the characters are great, the ambiance is great. I just hate I feel it inevitably falls flat. It should be a game to cool down and enjoy not get blasted by ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cards in the last moments of the game. I love the overall concept but after playing it for X amount of time I don't care and don't feel real continuation or reason to continue playing this game.

Early Access Review
(posted Nov 22 2015)Normally you have your regular Smash Bros Rip off. But thats not this game. This game is amaizingly well balanced (whether you play Hatori or not) and a great joy to play with friends! This game may have a while to go, but I am certain this game will be a Masterpiece.

Here are some great features:

-Character skill curve: this simply means you can be as good (or as bad) with any specific hero you choose. It's easy to main certain characters and still play with other Legends.

-It's "newb" friendly: this is not an insult, but simply stating that as a new player i can be immensley fun to pick this game up, whether playing around with friends or playing Competitive. The game simplicity is what allows it's complexity to shine!

-A well balanced Competitve(Ranked): This game's competitive is well done with a well set rank system. Whether 1v1ing to show just how good you are alone or grabbin' a friend to coordinate to win, it's a system thats well one and a hell of a lot of fun to play!

-Character/map/music design in general: This game has a beautful cartoony design that not only isn't a pain to look at, but it frankly beautiful. The characters (aka Legends) all have a nice Lore written for background info and the Legends themselves all have unique attacks of their own to master their weapons fighting style. And finally the music is pretty great and not extremely annoying which is definetley important for a fighting game's design and overall feel.

-It's Beta?: It's in beta which may scare some people away, but the developers have managed to keep frequent updates coming! So Full Steam Ahead!!

-Final thoughts: Brawlhalla has everything you could want in a 2-D Brawler, from swords to guns, A Pirate to A demon Ninja lady, what more could you ask.

-P.S.: I have never attempted to use a keyboard to play this game I highly recommend a plug-in controller for best use.

Anyways,
thanks for Readin'
-AJCB 10/10
