My ego and pride sometimes got ahead of my character. I forgot that this was just a game. I lost a friend whom I truly respected, loved, and even saw as an idol.
Yes, I can be toxic. Yes, maybe I’m not a good friend. Yes, not every talent or good play defines me.
But believe me, my brothers — I was never your enemy or rival. I was just trying to be a better player.
And while doing that, my ambition and ego got ahead of who I really am.
