Unique twist on man vs god theme with yuri romance and family as the main focus.
Deep characters, music, and atmosphere outweighs its simple combat and linear level design.

Game's good but a little bit limited. Releasing the sequel which has wider array of customizations exclusively on Epic is not good.

Disclaimer: I know nothing about the developer. I don't know whether if he has a depression or something. I'm writing this purely as someone who just found this game and gave it a try.

With that said, this game is only interesting at the beginning. I started this game hoping for some short surreal puzzle adventure. What I got was a content of the creator's heart and the frustration. Also a glimpse of his romance drama. As soon as I realized that, I lost quite a bit of interest and just continuing this game to see how it ends. Granted, the introduction was "This is an awkward dimension, but hey this is my dream", so I was fully aware that this might be a very random walking simulator. However what I didn't expect was the author put their bad experiences inside. That makes it rather depressing to play.

The game gives you that surreal feeling of a dream alright. With good tracks and design, this might be one of my favorite walking simulator games out there. But the fact that they had to put the "low" points of their life in, I couldn't really recommend it to anyone.

It's Dark Souls, but more casual and has anime babes. Graphic is amazing and each characters have various degree of depth, making them feels more like characters than just an NPC that gives you quests. The Japanese voice acting are also superb. Action is toned down Dark Souls. Boss fight can be done relatively quick, depending on your build. Character customization is decent. I wish for more outfits though.

I played this game ever since this game is still in Early Access, even though it's kind of "Late" early access. It was fun. But now the game is plagued with cheater, at least in SEA region. Unless they come up with a way to get this done, I can't really recommend this to anyone. It really spoil your experience, surviving until about 20 people left just to be killed by a cheater from far away that can know your position without even looking, or someone who can shoot through walls + aimbot. RIP PUBG.

This is the first time I play a "hardcore FPS" like this. What I know is this is basically ARMA 3 but repackaged for smaller scale PvP. This is actually a nice indefinite demo to get people to ARMA 3, especially the coop mode.

+ Nice graphic
+ Realistic gunshot and bullet impact sounds.
+ Realistic weapon handling and recoil.
+ Co-op match.

- No vaulting.
- Very slow player progression especially on skill tree. You need skill tree to unlock weapons and attachments. But that progression takes forever even for the first 5 level.
- Occassional watermark.

The game is ok. You can try but I cannot guarantee that you will like it because the genre "hardcore fps" isn't for everyone. Another name for "hardcore fps" is war simulation.

Good puzzle, nice story and voice acting, impressive graphic and soundtrack. The game isn't very atmospheric however. A thing worth noting is the game doesn't provide you any obvious tutorial for the mechanism, like instruction or visible visual aid. You need to try out everything, named thinking outside the box to solve the puzzles. Overall enjoyable experience. I got it on Summer Sale so it's totally worth it.

The game's good. But if the rumors about the new "enhanced" version of the game that requires you to buy it in full price, no save transfer, different MP servers, and other exclusive enhancements are right, nah screw both the developer and publisher.

Post Scholar of The First Sin release:
They offer discounted price for the owner of Dark Souls II to upgrade to SotFS and the same price as the original Dark Souls II for those who haven't owned the game yet. If you guys are planning to get Dark Souls II, get the SotFS instead for the many enhancements.
