As gameplay I am sure counter strike has always been the best game for compietitive tactical FPS. Even with new implements this game has attract more gamers to CS world, making it a real business.
Unfortunatly, seems like Valve has a bit abandoned this game... over the years this game has been filled with custom skins which have insignificantly increases the game memory capacity, making it really huge and laggy.
A lot of players are reporting poor performance and we expect the 64 bit mode. (which is still in developing, in theory).
Developers must care about this game, introducing new operations and skins is not the solution to make this game better.

full imersion tactical military game, the amount of actions you can do is impressive.
The editor will give you the chance to personalize your mission and your loadout. I love it.

Awesome game, back in the days CoD was a great game.

This is one of my first and favourite FPS. I've spent a lot of time of my life on this game, and I dont regret it. Counter Strike 1.6 is the real Counter Strike, even if the future goes on, 1.6 will remain unique. Beyond frags, kills, fun with friends and mods, I love this game mainly because of old memories.
Years will pass, but 1.6 version will be on out hearts forever.
