Still an absolute noobie (less than 2h RN), I really like the new perspective they decided to take in this sequel, which I think suits well the new "itinerant" gameplay structure. I'm waiting to get a dozen hours under my belt before writing a proper review, so that's all you'll get today.

P.S: I purchased the game as part of its most recent bundle (get dd1 and dd2 at a discount), and, despite me fiddling with it to hell and back, I couldn't manage to get it running vanilla. I looked up in the player files what could have gone wrong, and found out that there was error related to a missing DLC. I was actually going to purchase the DLC, so not a big deal for me, but if I had different preferences that would have been extremely annoying.

Had a wonderful inn until a werekangaroo wandered in and went on to slaughter and infect all the patrons, overruning the fortress in 2 months. 10/10
