Great game definitely worth buying if your a big fan of strategy games epically American Civil War period games this is going to be a must have.
The level of detail is great and the ability to customise your units and commands is a great detail the extra option of picking up the Whiskey & Lemon DLC is great for those wanting to play a career mode which allows you to start at the bottom of the rank ladder and build yourself up.

Highly recommend you get the game if your into 1st person realism shooters based around WWII. The game does currently have a smaller niche community compared to other WWII game's like Hell Let Loose but, I would honestly say this is a far better game for those looking for a more realistic WWII shooter. I would also say that the armour/tank game play is easily the best your going to get from a WWII realism game. If all this dosent already sound good then the soon to be released Pacific front (Iwo Jima) should be the icing on the top.

In summary, WoR has the mark of a dying game and with the current toxic community and unresponsive dev team has left huge disappointment in its 7-6 year game development which has promised and promised time again and continues to fail to deliver.

Update on my original review I love to be proved wrong its fair to say that although my opinion regarding the toxic community still stands that the game its self has improved and continued to have fairly progressive development since I last played. In my most recent return to the game I found alot of changes from the original technical alpha which I had played so regularly and I am pleased to say for the most part I am impressed. However I still wouldn't recommend this largely due to the way the community is and unless the game grows a larger more diverse community of those that just want to play a historical Civil War shooter and not a political and racial platform to vent off toxic views and rhetoric I personally don't see my self wanting to get back into the game in the long run. But of course those are just my views and opinion if your looking for a first person shooter in this time period then its defiantly worth giving it a shot.
