Regardless of which game "does it better" the experience you can get from this game is entirely free with no pay to win aspects.

Fun game, interesting take on the extraction shooter formula.

Game sometimes freezes/crashes mid session, no idea why

Those that are review bombing this game because of early issues are stupid. The game in its state at launch has some issues that need to be addressed such as queues not working. The game itself is good fun, and most people that like valorant/overwatch/siege will enjoy this game.

I did not play the demo so went into this game completely blind and I am struggling to understand what I need to do, and I sometimes find that lots of things can feel unresponsive or provide very little feedback - like when I hit someone with a sniper you cant really gauge the damage you're doing and can sometimes feel very weak.

The game is fun though!

This game has great horror elements and strong thematic ties that parallel the story well. While streaming the game, I found it some pacing issues where some progression felt quite mundane and monotonous, but the atmosphere and cool playstyle meant it KIND OF got away with it. I would recommend this game to people, but, realistically, you can get just as much enjoyment from it just by watching it - which is a result of parts of the game just feeling like copy and pastes. (Oh wow! this NPC now wants me to goto THIS side of the oilrig and do this...) The only other issue I found was that game mechanically didn't let you "defeat" any of the enemy/bosses but rather there would be a short cutscene that just kills them off, I think it would have been nice to bring it about oneself to make the kill feel more impactful.

DBD is one of those games you will hate and love at the same time.
