As I sit down to write this review for What Remains of Edith Finch, I find myself flooded with memories of the first time I experienced this masterpiece on my PlayStation 4. Years have passed since then, but the impact of this game has stayed with me, and upon replaying it recently, I've come to appreciate its story in a whole new light.

What Remains of Edith Finch isn't just a game; it's an emotional journey through the lives of the Finch family, each one a chapter in a larger, interconnected narrative. From exploring the mysterious Finch house to uncovering the deeply personal stories of its inhabitants, every moment is meticulously crafted to evoke a range of emotions.

Revisiting the game now, I find myself noticing subtleties and nuances in the narrative that I may have missed before. The way each story is told, through unique gameplay mechanics and stunning visuals, creates an immersive experience unlike any other. Whether it's soaring through the skies as a bird or reliving memories through a comic book, each vignette leaves a lasting impression.

But what truly sets What Remains of Edith Finch apart is its ability to touch the heart. The themes of family, loss, and the passage of time resonate deeply, reminding us of our own mortality and the importance of cherishing every moment we have. It's a reminder that life is fleeting, but our memories endure.

As I reflect on my journey through Edith Finch's world once again, I'm struck by how profoundly moving it is. It's a testament to the power of storytelling in video games, and a reminder of why I fell in love with gaming in the first place.

If you haven't experienced What Remains of Edith Finch yet, I urge you to do so. It's more than just a game; it's a work of art that stays with you long after the credits roll. Trust me, you won't regret it.
