Decent story, although the main character's voice acting gets annoying at times.
The world is pretty detailed and the graphics are above average, however I can't recommend this game solely because of the gunplay and combat.
Freakers dodge your bullets and on top of that, the hitreg is atrocious. You'd think that they would put a bit more effort into the combat seeing as it's the main part of the game.

Lovely game!
This is a big step up from Hazelight's previous title "A Way Out" and you can really tell that the developers have an endless imagination and put care and attention into almost every detail.

I can't recommend this game enough if you have a significant other to play with!

Awesome game in many aspects, story and gameplay-wise that is. Superb detail in the world.

The online portion is however very underwhelming.

DayZ was good up until the last update, which teleports you to a random location in a specific vicinity from where you logged out.
This is to stop "combat logging"...

The problem is that all it does it ruin the game when you run for an hour to find each other, just for the server to randomly shut down. When you join a new server, you get teleported a few kilometers from each other again.
Rinse and repeat.

Fun, well executed and satisfying.
Unfortunately maps leave a lot to be desired.

Missed more 99% hits than I can count.
11/10 would miss again.

I've played this game since it came out, and to be honest there isn't much positive feedback that I can think of.
The game has a really good concept, which has been completely ruined by the greedy and ignorant developers.

Pros:
1. Good concept.

1. Really crappy developers that does what THEY think is best for the game, not listening to the community at all.
2. Low resolution graphics, pixels are showing really well at most points.
3. The ambient sounds are the worst I've ever heard, mostly annoying and adds nothing to the game.
4. The game is FILLED with hackers. (Better now than before)

Conclusion: Bad game overall, pretty much everything is useless, except for the PVP, which is fun at times but has alot of flaws aswell.
If I could buy this game again, I wouldn't. Would you?
